Before she was an employee here at the Animal Hospital of Sandy Springs, Donna was a client. One day on a routine visit with her dog, Donna decided to inquire if Dr. Ahearn had any openings. It just so happened that the clinic was looking for a part-time receptionist! Donna joined the team in 2007 and transferred into full-time work a short time later.
Donna worked in the corporate world for 25 years before she started her journey in veterinary medicine. After her retirement, she realized she missed interacting with coworkers and clientele. Donna feels incredibly fortunate to have joined the team here at the Animal Hospital of Sandy Springs, and feels that she’s able to connect with the hospital’s clients on an even deeper level because she is a former client herself.
Donna has two pets of her own at home. Maddie Rose is a Maltipoo who has appointed herself the neighborhood’s Chief of Police, and Sassy is a Shih Tzu who acts more like a human than a dog.
